Error with Order Status and Envoices

I have a big problem with my VM , i cant change the status to confirmed or shipped i dont now what happend just show this error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /home/flproduc/public_html/libraries/tcpdf/tcpdf.php on line 22628

this error is when i want to change to confirmed or shipped the order status and when i want to generate manually the invoice...

the problem is that vm cant send the email with the download link (i will sell virtual products), please help!
