Missing modules on install

Just for anyone else out there having a brain fart...

running J2.5 and VM2

I installed VM2 AIO and i had no modules,  went through days of drama and reinstalling and and and

here is what I did
I forgot to make sure they were enabled in the extension manager> manager, then publish the modules

works fine now

hopes that this helps someone else in their search
