someone know why?

Ditto. Ever figure it out? I see that there hasn't been a response. I do know this, if you logged in as a Super Admin (the same admin that is on the store info), the info goes away.

Milbo

It is the ACL of vm2.0.26. Only superadministrators are allowed to change profiles of other users

Hi,

I updated my VM installation and I am (potential customers actually) getting the hacking attempt message.

Last time I solved this by editing the message to something that does not scare customers away.  I can not remember where this message is found in the code.

Does someone know?

Thanks

Milbo

Please be aware that this is a quite old post of January 07, 2014.

The hacking attempt comes usually if the vendorId does not fit. Please check that your shopowner is correctly set.

Thanks, I know that this is an old thread.

VendorID not fit?  This happens during checkout.  What do I check about VendorID?  Where ?

What I wanted to do is what I did last time.  I edited the code so that the error message would not be so intimidating to potential customers.
I do not remember where the error message is.  Do you know?

Thanks

Milbo

As I explained, this is usually not necessary. The error shows that there IS an ERROR. We should try to find the reason and not "solve" it by hiding the alert.

Is this maybe an old vm1 installation?

Thanks.

This is VM 2.6.12.2

Can you explain what vendorID does not fit?  What do I look for.

As far as hiding the alert, I want to change the error message.  When customers see "Hacking Attempt" they assume that the web site is trying to hack them.  They quickly run away and I loose the sale.  An error like "VendorID Error - Please contact us" would be much better.

Where can I find this until I can fix the VendorID?

Milbo

QuoteThis is VM 2.6.12.2

Please update to vm2.6.14. One time written in vmtable, models user.php and tables userinfos.php
