Hi, I can't get rid of this even though I have edited the currency and put in the shopper information... any clue?

This actually helped me out, and via a reference in another thread elsewhere, I found the solution (that worked for me: Joomla 2.5.8 [stable] and VM 2.0.14).
Am posting this for any others who come across this thread.
After filling out all the info in Additional Informations (VM Cpanel > Shop > Additional Informations tab) you then go to the Vendor tab (VM Cpanel > Shop > Vendor) and make sure you fill out both:
- Shop Name:
Shop Company Name:
and make sure you set the currency at this point
Save
