I lost over 3500 Category listings in my upgrade - thought 1000 did go across. I still have the original VM1.9 tables as well as the new VM2 tables. All ids get changed in the update but the SKU remains the same between the to products. Has anyone written any SQL to grab the data from the vm_product_category_xref table to the virtuemart_product_categories table?
found if you don't have a manufacturer set you don't get the Category - add a category to all products and it works
