Title: Ugh...without thinking I upgraded to Joomla 2.5. Best course of action?

I'm running VM2.0 and now, unfortunately, Joomla 2.5. Of course, I didn't make a back up first.

Do I upgrade VM to 2.0.1b? Attempt to downgrade Joomla? Is that possible without a Joomla backup? Wait it out?

Theoretically you can ftp the Joomla 1.7.3 fileset over the 2.5 set, but this is not an easy approach. Joomla 2.5.1 should be released later today - maybe that will work. But probably best to wait & see. Make an Akeeba backup now and test the new 2.5.1 first, then go to VM2.0.1b, but this is untested terrirory.

is there a release date soon for m VM2 working on J2.5 ?
