I want to separate description and technical description of a product in description field...
possible to create a new tab in product description field? like this :

then anable joomla plugins in vmart admin
if that one does not work.

I didn't try that myself yet, because at present I don't need tabs. But I think it shouldn't be too difficult to implement some jQuery UI tabs, since jQuery is already being used by VM2.

The Banquet'link seems not working (plugins enabled in VM admin and joomla, plugin works in joomla'contest)
for future, it will be interseting to put a second field of description and showing these as tabs, no?
i could do that manually by adding a second description field in DB and change codes but i'm alittle "programer" lol

I tried a lot of tabs in the product description, and unfortunately none worked in the VM.
The only case which has worked NoNumber slider (thanks Peter).

I have just got tabs working for the product page, Download Tabber from here http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/tabber?tab=download (http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/tabber?tab=download) Place this in to your joomla extensions. Once You Have Done That Place This Code:
{tab=Tab Title 1}
Your text...
{tab=Tab Title 2}
Your text...
{/tabs}
Any where you want the tab in joomla even Virtuemart product page.

with VM 1.9.8 and Joomla 1.7.2 did not work me Tabber (NoNumber), but only Slider.
(It is possible that the problem with my template).
Extensions of NoNumber well know on his website, I also mentioned as a Slovenian translator.
On your side I see that all the fine work which is great.
