Hello you VirtueMart-Programmers out there.
I am seeking for a Freelancer to complete this little "job":
Out shop-customers should be able to view in their order list the following, additional information:
shipper | tracking-id (IDC?)
Those two pieces of informationen shall be added in the orders and order-details-view in the virtuemart backend.
- the shipper should be chosen by a drop-down-list
- the tracking-id should be entered into an input field. It must be possible to enter (and display in frontend) multiple, single IDs per order (maybe even per product).
In the frontend, the tracking-IDs should be directly linked to the shippers result page for following those shipments.
This "extension" shall be administered seperately. We would like to
- add / remove shippers
- manually add their corresponding base-url for tracking
- manually add the delimiter for checking multiple tracking IDs
additional information:Right now, we are using exclusivly DHL (Germany) as shipper. The customer
cannot choose a shipper when placing their order.
The "naked" URL for checking the tracking on the DHL-site is http://nolp.dhl.de/?idc= (http://nolp.dhl.de/?idc=), followed by the tracking-ID. The delimiter for checking multiple tracking is a comma (",").
Programming and testing will be done on a seperate mirror-system. Working on the live-system is not necessary in the first place.
Payment can be done project-based or per-hour-based.
The shop is operated by a German company, the shop-language is German. I am the employed shop-manager.
Edit:You can decide, if you want to re-distrubute this extension under GPL or commercial license. This should be considered when making an offer.
