I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but there seems to be a problem using the VM back end through a private network. My desktop has Apache and various Joomla installs, and I have set Apache to accept visitors from my local laptop IP.
With my laptop I have no problems logging into Joomla's backend, but when I go to Virtuemart (backend), it's very buggy and none of the links work. They all have the base url: http://localhost/thedomain. But what is needed: http://192.168.2.3/thedomain. Joomla itself nor any other components I use cause a problem. Any ideas? My hunch is it has to do with VM's system for SSL. If I change the https url or manually insert the right url it works.
