After updating to VirtueMart 4.0.12 10777, the option to select images stopped working.
Product images show up but cannot be selected.

It's a bug with the old admin template. Use the new template.
I did not change anything. How is it using the old template?
On VM Configuration/Shop/Advanced Settings you have "New Admin Template" set to NO - or you have not installed the new template with the VM package?
Do you sell many of these strange fuzzy things?

Change it and it works again, but why hasn't this been mentioned anywhere? Also, the thumbs are huge, and half cut off at the image search. How do I change that?
Now I have the new admin template and it does not show that I am a support member.
Also, the colors are why off.
The new template was introduced 2 years ago. https://virtuemart.net/news/503-release-virtuemart-3-8-8-updated-administrator-interface-template-design and has been steadily developed since then. The style can be changed using the options under the New Admin Template switch.
I don't have a problem with image sizes.

While I like the new template, I am not able to find this "New Admin Template switch"
