I have some stock of shoes arriving tomorrow.
I have never really dealt with product variants and only needed to create child products on a few occasions - perhaps if one product was available in two different colours.
What is the best way to go about adding a shoe, with different sizes.
Each colour would be a product of it's own. So I don't plan to list these as seperate variants.
I like how this website does it. You can select the size, then it shows you if it's in stock or if there's a lead time.
Anyone know of a plugin that can do this?

but I prefer customfield4all and stockable, because I need use filtering and searching ( I think our customers too)

Also with my plugin you can use vm search by size and color. And all this using virtuemart core functions.

I can't find much info on how this process works with custom fields for all.

I like the way Custom Filters allows people to filter by size and color.
It uses standard string cf to store data about size and color. So you can find it in VM natural search. I have to make a demo (it's coming soon) but if you want we can talk about it in pm.
Search is not filtering
But you can easily use it for filtering.
Maybe, if these fields (not variant) is loaded by modul Custom Filetrs and show as color as on demo from breakdesign or our website www.archivbox.cz
But your video don't show modul filtering or result after search.
And I don't buy for testing, because I have full subscription for all products from breakdesign.
