Title: Eshop with building materials
Post by: Adwans on March 01, 2021, 18:18:06 PM
Let me invite to our new eshop with building materials, like balcony doors, membranes, etc. We recently started up, still adding new items.
In Norwegian it is called Byggmaterialer nettbutikk
https://www.byggplus.no/
Basically built with J & VM current, on T3 framework and Joomlart template. We use some custom plugins (needed for example to configure window /door type, profile, size, side, accessories calculated by item area, circumference or weight, and so on).
Comments and tips are welcomed.

Looks good. My Firefox web developer tools didn't spot any errors at a first glance.

I'm really surprised at the loading speed of the website you've been working on. Its pages load in 3 seconds, which is a very good result. In terms of design and functionality, I have no complaints. But I would add social media buttons for registration.

Looks good.
I would consider using a filtering system for letting the customers find what they are looking for easier.

Pls don't speak about this if you don't understand truly :)

This site is not loaded in 3 seconds...
Important for loading is 3G lower speed and for this is time 6-8 seconds. Is not bad for T3 framework, really, but it can be better after disable DEV mod in template setup and enable CSS and JS minification (cca 1-2% point.).

But if you need make right business, the shops must be loaded in green points == more then 90%. If not, site is not recommended from google search and positions will be in the last places...
And this shops is very easy now, without external comments, reviews, sharing, video....
Don't remember - if you add any external JS (social media, youtube, GTM, GA...) then result will be changed to 11-16 second and site will be not for really business using.
We use T3 framework lot of time, but optimization for this template we plan in first shop for this year  - https://www.karcher-satter.cz

Optimalization is long time process :)

Compare with this (after optimalization):
