Hello I have downloaded VirtueMart3.8.8_Joomla_3.9.24-Stable-Full_Package
ans installed the default demo VM and make a test : add some product and validate the order.
But at the end of the order the website come back at on another page : http://www.mywebsite.com/index.php/cart/orderdone?virtuemart_vendor_id=1 and not the home page and the page is not correct :

On my test site I go to https://xxxxxxx.co.uk/VM388/index.php/vm/cart/orderdone where the Thank you for your order! page is displayed. For this test I used registration before checkout for a new shopper.
From your image it looks like you are logged into the front of the site as superadmin?
There are default settings, change in VM Back end and probably Joomla system settings.

@jenkinhill yes I use Super user, now I have make a new shopper but it seems that I have the same problem after registration.

Check that Joomla global settings cookie settings are blank.
Check that correct url is entered in VM shop censor.

I login And test again and I see the same page : white page with text .
I use error maximum but no error on front end.
Do I have to download also core vm ?

You seem to loose the CSS. It breaks all over the place.
Try to turn of SEF in Joomla and see if that helps.

I guess You have trouble loading jquery.
Turn of sef and check You setting in VM for loading jquery.

Hello if I turn sef joomla yes it works.
No I didn't change default setting.
Ok I'm going to install vm, just download the last version and install again right ?

I ve just installed once again and I have always the same problem, it only works if I use SEF from joomla...
You have something strange in your setup.

Is there a correct menu item with the top level category in Your language ?

no "base" menu to the VM com_virtuemart? Maybe only one to the category /wear ?

I found the problem :
I have install on my host copy file htaccess.txt rename the file .htaccess,
then on joomla configuration I put "ON" on all paremeter SEO.
I can make all test are ok.
