Title: Auspost plugin - warning - vmPlugin compatiblity
Post by: AnnieG13 on June 25, 2020, 03:44:10 AM
Hi all,
After weeks of 'playing' around with this site I still have issues.
I am getting a warning coming up, so any help would be great to great it sorted.

Using: Joomla 3.9 Virturmart 3.8
Site - www.puppylanetreats.com.au

Warning: Declaration of plgVmShipmentAuspostpac1::getVmPluginMethod($virtuemart_shipmentmethod_id) should be compatible with vmPlugin::getVmPluginMethod($int, $cache = false) in /home/puppylan/public_html/plugins/vmshipment/auspostpac1/auspostpac1.php on line 126

This is what line 126 is =    protected function getVmPluginMethod($virtuemart_shipmentmethod_id)

As I don't know what this line should read, I'm not sure how to what needs fixing.  :-\ :-\ :-\

Suggestions would help please.
ThanksAnnie

Hi,
So are you saying that

($int, $cache = false)

needs to be inserted into the line

protected function getVmPluginMethod __________ ($virtuemart_shipmentmethod_id)

where I have created the space?

Thanks Annie

Hi all,
So after many hours of hair pulling, and thanks to GJC Web Design, it's now working.

Apparently it was the Auspost plugin, once I un-installed the current one and installed one that was working, it's looking how it should.

Thanks John, from Annie

No problem...

just to clarify : the non working AusPost plugin wasn't mine .. it was replaced with my https://www.gjcwebdesign.com/joomla-downloads/virtuemart-3-auspost-australia-shipping-plugin.html  :)

Hi, yes I didn't explain that very well, I purchased a great working AusPost plugin from GJC Web Design and with lots of help these guys got me sorted.

A massive thank you John.

Cheers Annie
