My $0.02:

I would say work a bit on the look and feel of the site. Maybe play around with some different templates. Change the images of your product categories as they are showing the stock Virtuemart demo product images (Shovels and Saws)

Also, do you have an SSL Certificate installed? I'd say if you want more business, get one to put your customers at ease about their personal information and payment security.

Definitely a great start though. Keep up the good work!
