Hi all,
New to Virtuemart, but not to Joomla in general.
I've just started setting up a store, and I am stumped by the shipping. Do postal code ranges work with Canadian postal codes (alphanumeric?)
If not, what are people doing for shipping plugins? Looks like UPS is the only real option?
If yes, how do you set that up?
If it won't work at all, can I remove it from the frontend form somehow? No point having it there if it's pointless!
Thanks!
My Canadian clients either use my https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/vm-postcode-for-virtuemart/ extension and can set up their own rates
or use https://www.gjcwebdesign.com/joomla-downloads/vm3-2-canada-post-shipping.html if they want to use Canada Post

Does your option cover this situation
Im selling in canada only, I need to charge extra shipping fees when a customer as a postal code in the format *0*-**0 or *0*-0**
When the postal code as 2 zeros i receive extra fees from carrier
Stefan
This would need to be specifically coded into the https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/vm-postcode-for-virtuemart/
This would be a rural surcharge?
Please contact by PM if interested
Cheers
John
