Within virtuemart 3.4 you can add a module that displays the latest products, most sold products, etc.
I try to display the latest products, newly added products. This module does this, but is very static.
What I like to have is to display, let's say, 3 products at the same time, but at random. For example 3 products at random from the 20 latest added products, or 3 products at random from a specific date or till some weeks/months ago.
If i need an extension to do this, which extension do I need?
I would get "more" than I need back from the product model call in the module and then pick 3 at random each time
needs to be coded obviously
Is there an extension already there, to do what I want?
I am not a real programmer. But maybe someone here like to help me out with this?
you would need to cross my palm with gold .. this comes under the heading of paid development...
probably work out as the same price as an extension -- whether one exists no idea .. tend to build what I need now days ..
