Does anybody know how to override the block view/horizontal views of products?
The page I'm referring to: http://www.pjtest.co.za/index.php/bow-tents
My client has categorized each item in size and would like the product to be viewed in BLOCK FORMAT ONLY - Would this be possible?
Define what you mean by "Block view"? Maybe with an image - as that page shows what I would call block view.

Sorry about that, it is called grid view.
My client would like it to viewed in the grid format, list option should not be available
OK, this is not a VirtueMart option, it is part of your template. You could hide it with css or edit it out of the template. If you don't know how you should ask your template supplier, but the switcher does have a class applied making display:none; and obvious option for a css override.
As Jenks said -- but u might want to go further and clone the over ride and comment out/remove the grid section as if it is only display:none switched it seems pointless to have it rendered and hidden on the page
