I am using a custom theme and some extensions, but the issue happens even with those extensions disabled and using the default protostar template. Any help us appreciated :(

You can test by logging in with the following credentials:
Account Number (Username): PRI001
Password: britalia1
Turn caching OFF, important.
Maybe compression too, not sure about this.
You should really consider upadating, both Joomla and VM versions old and insecure.

I find it strange that you have exactly the same issue and setup - and use the same words as:

I wonder why that should be unless you just want to waste our valuable time ..... AHA they contain hidden spam links so have now been deleted bans applied.
