Post by: mshawali on July 22, 2018, 17:39:44 PM
Dears

I have Joomla 3.8.10 with VM 3.2.12 and PHP 4.7.7, i am using multi language (Arabic, English).

I have a problem in translate currencies, countries, coupons, manufacture, ... etc from English to Arabic in all menus, only products can be translated in Arabic and English, any ideas, did i miss some configurations or something must be added?? the site is working fine in switching between languages products and description appears in Arabic and English, but for currencies, countries, coupons, manufacture only in English.

Thanks

Not sure about which locations your are talking. The manufacturer names can be translated if you select 'Arabic' from the VM language selection in the upper left corner while editing a manufacturer. Countries are translated in language files. If you are using the currency module, you need two of them, one set to English and one set to Arabic in the module's language selection. You can also edit the currency to change its name into Arabic (Saudi Riyal?) or add a new currency in your language. If you want menus in both languages, you also need to select the language for the menu item (English or Arabic, but not 'All').

Dear JJk

For countries i translate the ini file and it works, also for manufacturer but for currency i create modules  for each language (Arabic, English) but how to make the currency appears only in selected language there is no selection for language when i add new currency, also if i choose the same 3 character code (SAR) it gives and error duplicated code since there is no code in Arabic, when i change the name for existing currency it appears in Arabic in both languages.
