Title: Clone product is possible but you cannot change product category anymore!

Hello,

I use joomla 3.7.2 and virtuemart 3.22

If you clone a product which is connect to some product categories, you cannot change anymore to another category after saving the orginal category will be visible.

Let say you clone product "Handsaw" which is connect to category "handtools" 
So now you are in the new cloned product and want to change product name "handsaw" in to product name "disc brake" and want to select anew product category "bicycle part", after saving  the product name is changed but product category stays on "handtools"

The work around is to make a new product instead of cloning when using a new product category

please advise

I have the same issue, J3.8.0, VM 3.2.4, PHP 7.1.9, anyone found a solution ?

Perhaps using my tool https://shop.st42.fr/en/products/vm-be-pro-batch-product-edit.htm after you have cloned the product,you can do it?

Hello

Are You sure? Using IE 11 I get this behaviour, but after reloading the page shows the correct category.
