Good evening,
I need some help to fix the following problem, I have products created with related children's products that change according to the color of the product, for each of the children's products I have to add a custom field to choose optional customer (with price indication Of the option that will add to the basic price). How do I create this custom field or do I need additional plugins?
Thanks to those who will help me.
Don't understand what you are asking. See https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=104795.0
Hi,
I try to explain it better by making you a practical example.
Example:
My "armchair" product has several children that diversify it by color, to each of these children's products I have to include options that the customer can choose, can choose one or all of them and each of these options has a cost that needs to be added At the base price.
Do I have to use custom field chetipo to have this multiple choice? Or should I use an extra plugin to get this result?
I hope I've been clear now.
Thank you so much for those who will answer me. :)
Someone can help me please?
I really need help!!! :'( :'( :'(

HI,
thanks for the answer but still not that I looking for.
Example:
PRODUCT 1 -
Multiple options (the client can choose 1 or all the options)
- Option 1 + €3,00
- Option 2 + € 10,00
- ecc.......
I need the multiple choise on option that's my real prolem, Do I have to include as many custom fields as are the options a product has? 10 options = 10 custom fields?
Go make a custom field "String"-name it Color, make it a Cart Attribute and Cart input.
Then, go to your products. Select a product and go to Custom Fields.
Select Color from the drop down-once for each color.
The first box is price (leave it at 0 if the color doesn't change the price).
Then, on the website go look at your product.
Thank you for the answer.
I tried to do as you told me but the result is always the same, It considered and consequently only increases the price of an option, but what I need is that the customer can choose more than one optional, that's my problem!
What can I do? :'(
Create one custom field per option perhaps ?
