How do I put this snippet in virtuemart products? (see screenshot)
I tried plugging in backend for each product (with JCE) but when I save the code is deleted.

It's not possible (and very bad for security reason to permit this type of code in the editor).
THe standard way is, or to modify the overide for products details or make a standard Joomla system plugin or customfield plugin (depending your needs).
You can store this. But you must ensure that you store as raw. Check your permissions and your Editor settings.
But Patrick is right, a correct override or plugin is more suitable
