My new product form was working. It stopped working. For a different reason I reinstalled Joomla and Virtuemart. It still doesn't work. When I fill out all the fields and hit the save or save and close button it does not add the product and the screen redirects to the VirtueMart control panel. Has anyone seen this? How do I fix it?

I updated to 3.6.4 and when I try to add a product when clicking the save button it goes to the virtuemart control panel and does not add the product. Keep in mind I did a fresh install of 3.4.5 to get rid of hacker files. It had the problem after a fresh install.

If You do then why so little information ?
If You hade the site working, why can You not return to that state? Doing a fresh install is usually the best guarantee for a working site. VM works out of the box. But a fresh install means getting rid of Everything on the site not just overwriting existing install. We should not have a guessing competion. If Your site has been hacked, who knows, You don´t tell us much. ???

there never was any "hacker files" unless they added them after becoming your new Admin -- and its not much of a hack if a simple Joomla refresh removes it!
Any hacker worth the name leaves a trail of altered and new files with seemingly ordinary names like default.php
if u did a bit of research you would know that the vulnerability allowed ANYONE to register as an ADMIN and then do anything they liked to your site
We have seen many cases now of silly and unsafe configs etc etc done one assumes just to annoy.. they then it seems delete their user to cover any trace of a intrusion
so who knows what could have been done if your door was wide open for a period when 1000's of sites were compromised?
And your door is still wide open with your current set up!!!!!! update to 3.6.4 or enjoy the hacks and misconfigurations and intrusions

People hacked my ftp and uploaded files to redirect to porn sites. I had to delete their files. I deleted the entire joomla distribution so I would know they did not put code in the joomla code. Just one day suddenly the add product form stopped working. It still didn't work after I reinstalled a fresh version of Joomla.
Last time.. if your site is actually still on J3.4.5 as you state it is wide open..
anyone can register as an admin and do what they want ... it is a now widely publicised and dead simple task to do this.. and autobots are doing all the time..

and for your previous hack did you check the potentially 1000's of files in 3rd party extensions and templates?
I already posted saying I upgraded to 3.6.4. I deleted and reinstalled extensions too. The only part of the code I used is the old database. I am considering reinstalling a fresh version of 3.6.4 with Virtue Mart 3.0.14 and using a new database and rebuilding the product database from the old one.
