Hi Folks, Does anyone know why my checkout button is looping back to the cart? I have paypal selected in the payment method. Im hoping this is a simple fix as Im a complete noob. The answers on the other posts does not happen to fix my issue.
My versions are below:

I fixed the address page at check out by removing the template overrides - renaming the com_virtuemart folder in joomlaRoot/yourTemplate/html/ .
The Loop still remains with the error message "Message - Please register to checkout"

Probsbly this: In Joomla user options turn on Allow User Registration - in new Joomla versions it is disabled by default.

I think i found the problem: a simple click of a button, im so embarassed to share:
In the settings I had the following
On checkout, ask for registration - Not checked
Only registered users can checkout - Checked
So I simply unchecked "Only registered users can checkout" - becasue I dont want to store up customer's info and everything is golden!

On Second thought, is it possible to make registeration optional? So shoppers can either register or checkout as guest if they dont want to register.?
Yes, turn on On checkout, ask for registration, leave Only registered users can checkout deselected and ensure Joomla registration is allowed. The the choice is offered to register or checkout as guest.
