Mail function won't work correctly. You should upgrade to at least VM 3.0.16.

Hmm, actually... I wanted to know if the latest version of VM is compatible with the latest version of Joomla :))

Latest "stable" version is 3.0.16 so the answer was correct. You can now use VM3.0.17.6 and VM3.0.18 will be released very soon. All work with Joomla 3.6.2
