Hi,
I'm running a site with Joomla 3.5.1 and Virtuemart 3.0.14
I have the cashing setting to OFF from Global Configuration.
Every product has a multivariant custom field, with 2 custom labels: 1 for dimensions and 1 for colour.
In the site, when I try to select either a dimension or a colour I got a refreshing wheel, and nothing refreshes. I have to refresh the page manually to see my choice.
How this problem can be solved?

tried on the standard Protostar template?

When I change to protostar template, it's ok.
Can you tell me what's wrong??

your template.....

compare and integrate the standard ones to yours or if commercial get them to update it

I upgraded to the latest template version and it's ok.
