-I have a problem with products not showing when I click on one of my categories.. In administration it appears correctly (screenshots)
1. screenshot (in my webshop I clicked "plagaty", and there are supposed to be 2 items, but non of them is there ) :

2. screenshot (in administration of VM/categories : there are two categories, and for example in the "plagaty" category there are 2 products showing)

3. screenshot (so I click on the "plagaty" category but not right on that, but under "products" I clicked "show" - so it will show me the 2 products that are in "plagaty" category)

So I think it can be because in administration/menu/shop - I clicked show categories and unclicked show products... but I want it like that, I want that when someone click to my "shop" menu item, it only appears the categories first and so he can decide what he wants rather the either showing all the products (even tho there are just a lot different), or showing products(all) and also all the categories... which is just a mess by itself..
Can u please help me with that? I hope it is possible to set it up the way I just discribed.

try going to configuration/templates -> category layout and set it to categories
I cannot see a menu link to the VirtueMart Front Page - this is a requirement.

can be a hidden menu .. just so long as there is one

And please how to get it done with the categories appearence only, and then when clicked, showing products that are in the category?
I assume you need joomla menus links to each category as from memory the last time I tried this if u just have top level cat menus set to show only cats then this setting is cascaded down to all sub cats so the products don't show
I think I got round this (couldn't be ar**d making dozens of cat menus ) by in the template don't show the product section if catid = 1,2,x,x etc
