there has been some preliminary tests but don't believe this is a priority at the moment

You are welcome to start testing and reporting on any issues..

there are really speed and memory benefits.. but seems bizarrely early for a host to be pushing it-- fancy that.. an early adopter host!!!!

Most are still wondering whether to offer 5.4!..  ;)

Good basis to start as tester. You dont need to understand php, just read this outdated, but still valid post http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=78322.0

As Milbo says.. just do a clean install.. no extras and see what happens.. if white screens etc turn on as much debugging as you can and report back here exactly what u find.. this is testing

Hi Milbo

We have been testing Joomla 3.5 beta with PHP7.

The pages are loading much faster now :-) but VM is giving fatal errors.

Joomla's stable version is coming soon in a few days. When will VM support PHP7 and J3.5?

Thank you for all your great work :-D
