This is kind of a Joomla and VM question, I'm not sure which !!
I'm using Joomla 3.4.8, VM 3.0.12, and have an Article Category called "News". Our VM products are academic courses, and the product descriptions contain all the information about each couse (location, programme, costs etc.).
I'd like to display the product name as a link to the product description in the same category as News articles but I can't get my head around how to do this.
Example: I have an article about new committee meetings, in the News category. I have a News category module on the front page. The committee article title appears in the module box on the front page.
I also have a Revision course for a particular subject degined as a product, and I'd like to show the Product name in the same category module.
Icould just cut/paste the info into a copy article but with many courses it doesn't seem sensible to double up the number of places to manage content. Maybe I need a plugin of some sort that would display the product page in an article ?
My head's spinning trying to figure it out ! I'd love some quick pointers, there's probably an obvious answer :)

Yes I wondered about this one. It seems it would let me put the 'product box' into an article, i.e. what would appear on the product page. What I'm really after is to put the whole page that appears when you click on a product into an (otherwise blank) article.
Maybe I should just buy it on spec and try it out, seems like the best bet so far.
After a load more head-scratching I worked out that what I really want is to load a Virtuemart product page into an Article category - probably impossible even in theory !!
why not just make menus to the VM product?
The product page can be styled in any way you wish....
