I am running VirtueMart 3.0.12 on Joomla 3.4.5
On my home page, I have created a module showing the 2 products in my store with the add to cart button.
Once in a while, when you click on the add to cart button, it works correctly - showing the add to cart pop-up and adding the item to the cart
More often, it doesn't work correctly and reloads the home page with a shopping cart at the bottom instead of the home page content and the item is not added to the cart.
I have tried recreating the module as well as reinstalling Virtuemart.
I cannot find any rhyme or reason as to why it works sometimes and not others.

It is your artisteer template which is loading jQuery 1.9.1 after VirtueMart has loaded its required jQuery 1.11.3 which is probably causing the problem.
Successfully debugging sites with crapisteer templates is not always possible, but first step would be to stop it loading its own jQ.
