Hi,

We are working on custom upsale plugin for VM3 on (J! 3).

The purpose of this plugin is to offer an additional BONUS product at a discounted price, when shopper clicks ADD TO CART.

The problem is that we need to display this BONUS product only inside this PLUGIN - the BONUS product should not be visible / buyable in the VM shop.

So we are  thinking to create several BONUS products which are UNPUBLISHED - but then we need to display them ONLY inside the plugin.

Can we retrieve from DB the unpublished product somehow?

or

Are there any other ways to accomplish this?

just a simple query for unpub products but you may hit problems with not being able to checkout with unpub products

what a bout prods in an unpub. category?
