This module http://www.gillesen.nl/free-downloads/112-virtuemart-advanced-search was a very important feature for my Virtuemart 1.x site.
However, now that I upgraded to Virtuemart 3, this module doesn't work anymore and no alternative seems available!?

We'll I googled for it on Google, Github and even emailed the original author. But I couldnt find anything that does the trick.
I dont care about Ajax search or auto completion etc. Just a simple dropdown box with categories that is all.
Also the Genius Virtuemart Ajax Search (which everyone seems excited about) download site is down.
So my question is: who else has this problem and what solution are you using?
