Title: Coupon usable after expiration date

One of my client's created a permanent coupon with an expiration date however recently discovered that it was still usable. What is the purpose of the expiration date? Shouldn't VM disallow the coupon?

My client purchased AWO coupon shortly afterwards and the problem went away.
