Title: checkout bar
Post by: teoxtrm on August 14, 2013, 18:13:29 PM
I searched the forum but didn't find something to help me with enabling the checkout bar like in vm1.
I use vm 2.0.22.
Anyone can tell me where can i find the selection for this type of checkout?
If there isn't and you can point me to a guide or something it would be great too but cause i don't know much php some guides i found where difficult for me.
Thanks in advance.

You could turn on 'Show checkout steps' in VM configuration.

You didn't see steps during checkout?

There never has been a usable checkout bar in VM2. There is a way to add step number text but that has not proved useful as most site owners seem to want to move towards a single page checkout, and I'm not sure if the placeholders now exist in the default checkout templates, and most certainly won't appear in any commercial overrides.

YOu can create your own checkout steps though if you need to. For a starter see http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=109879.msg368037#msg368037
