Title: Adding customfield to the standard product order

Hello dear community,

how can I add a customfield to the standard product order? So far I've tried my best on product.php, config.php und shopfunctions.php. Unsuccessfully. Which files exactly do I have to change?

Can you not utilise the product customfields and make it a cart attribute?

unfortunately no  :-\  and I am afraid that would not solve the problem.
So far I've changed the categoryview successfully. My customfield shows up there already. Now I just need a hint how to expand or modify the sortorder-function so that this field can be sorted. Any ideas?
