I have the scenario where my cart could have a zero total. Virtuemart 2 seems to set this to a PENDING mode transaction automatically regardless of what changes I make in the store Configuration->Checkout->Default Order Status to send an invoice (set to Pending).
My system. Virtuemart 2.0.20b on Joomla 2.5.10 running on typical cpanel LAMP platform.
How can I force it to send the confirmation email to the customer and to the store owner?
ALSO--the cart module does not remove the products after clicking on the final confirmation.

I am using the Authorize.net AIM plugin. I actually am using an emulator for authorize.net but the code is 99.9% original in the basic Authorize.net AIM plugin.
