Looks like it actually has been removed from Github. As far as I remember, "Impleri" installed it long time ago on Github as a mirror of the SVN repository. Maybe he decided to remove it.

Implerie started to insult us via twitter, telling lies like vm2 goes closed source. He did this after reading the roadmap http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Roadmap . I have absolutly no clue how he got this idea. He started then to tell other strange stuff, so I banned him from the forum. Maybe this is his answer.

I can imagine how he got the idea:
In the roadmap you are saying that as soon as a feature is available commercially, you won't include it in the core any more. Put that together with the fact how much you stress that you want to keep the business model of 3rd party developers intact, it can easily be understood that you'll try to keep the core mean and feature-poor, while all useful features will then be available for sale. (And together with the fact that VM 2 is missing some features that were available in VM 1 for free, but now require a paid plugin, it's hard to argue against. I'm not saying that it's true, but it gives the impression.)

yes. But I wrote "usually" and "reasonable priced". The only thing missing is to sell downloadable goods. Everything else is enriched and more. In Vm1 a lot of people had to buy an invoice center, which is now part of vm2.

And even more important. I am not talking about the core code. Linux does not go closed source, just because there exists closed source for linux.

And to put the truth on the table and a little hint for all the pairs there outside.
The more your partner is jelious the more likely it is that he/she will betray you.

The reason is, that we always estimate the others by our own behaviour. So just blaming or accusing us for being evil without a real evidence, due constructed evidence shows me clearly that evil people cannot accept that other people think different. So the accusement falls back to the accuser.

Hi all:
It's a shame that there is no vrituermart repository on Github, as I find it a super powerful platform to help grow and collaborate on a project like Virtuemart.
At the moment I am thinking of uploading the current version to Github, since I think there is a bug, which I published in the post: [url] http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=145422.msg516414#msg516414 [/ url]
So in this way when it has to be updated, I have controlled that change.
I hope you do not find it wrong.
a greeting

Oh :D

In VirtueMart will be bugs every time...
Is open source and not comercional product.

This is not reason why you can't copy VirtueMart to GitHub/GitLab.

Reason why you can't is only this, then every commit from developers, must be as simple commit in github/gitlab.
And that is not be posible as automaticaly, because VirtueMart is in SVN repository and you want create mirror on Github and I don't know solution without support from Max.

QuoteVirtueMart development is on http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/repository

Exactly! :)

Is SVN repozitory and without cooperation with max you can't create mirror on Github (mirror == automaticaly create commit in github after commit in SVN repozitory).
I tryied...

Acabo sincronizar svn con git.
Bueno, mas bien subirlo, no puedo decir que sincronice, me falta probar si realmente sincroniza.
https://github.com/Ricardolau/mirror_virtuemart
Ahi tengo una rama donde tengo mis cambios, porque me falla el cambio de estado, como comente en este post:
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=145422.msg516420#msg516420

I just sync svn with git.
Well, rather upload it, I can not say that it synchronizes, I need to test if it really synchronizes.
https://github.com/Ricardolau/mirror_virtuemart
There I have a branch where I have my changes, because the state change fails me, as I comment in this post:
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=145422.msg516420#msg516420

bravo Solucionesvigo.
I have no problems that people use gitHub, we just need a way to get patches from there to the svn. So people can work on GIT and just send me the patches for the svn, which is imho no big deal.

You could send me them just here in the forum, or per skype, maybe.

I am very happy that you will like it, I hope to update it these days, to synchronize with the svn repository.
The changes I made to the error, you can see in this link.
But anyway I try to put them in the topic where the error of the forum is, so that others can see it.
