Title: New order notification

I am not getting an email notification of new orders. How can I set that up? Also, can I get text notifications?

what payment method?

do you get the "ask seller"   email?

I am using credit cards (authorize net). I do not get the ask the seller emails. I could not get that to work so I don't show that option on the page.

No, it was not set to receive system emails. I have set it now. hopefully that will do it.

My main super user backend user is set to get system emails. But do I need to set up a user account within virtue mart? I am still not getting notifications.

go in vmart "shoppers"  and search for your username

Ok, I see my username in there and it is set to receive system emails. Not sure what else to check.

do you get ANY emails from joomla?

new registrations? anything

IF NOT, yopur host might be blocking email going from and to the same place.

OR: your "mail configuration" is not correct in joomla global configuration
