hi

is there any way to change default "sort by" on category page ?

right now, products in category are sorted by ID by default. I'd like to change it.

if no - is there any way to change product ID ?

joomla 2.5.6
vm2 2.0.8c
PHP version: 5.2.172.0

Hello,

Did you try from the backend to go to Configuration -> Product Order Settings and change the Default category sort order and Default product sort order ?

Hello,

First i would suggest to update your vm installation to VM2.0.14, then please also upgrade your PHP because version 5.2.1 is not supported also by joomla itself: http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html

Then update your template files: http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_content&id=416
