Hi. Just to report that I am trying to search in the Filter Name field @ Product Categories List and isnt working for me ..
even do the search trying to search the correct category name with or without Case sensitive ...
the search only work with 2 characters.. lol.. if we type 3 doesnt work..
update: but even with only 2 characters is not filtering so well.. it miss some category names..
try to filter the word "television" in the Product Category
i got 2 categories with that word and VM 2.0.7 F doesnt find/filter any name even with case sensitive (caps lock on/off).
even if i try to search another names gives me problem (doesnt find) in the filtering category name...
I have the same issue, the filter name search on the admin side under categories does not work right. It returns some results correctly, most it just doesn't even find, even with the exact word.
Is this a known bug? I can't find anything about a fix?
Please write the words you are using. Maybe we used a too strong filter
for example Product Categories original name: 'Televisores'
i write next in input box 'Filter Name' the word: Televisores or Tel.. or even Tele
and show this result: No record found
even trying to search/filter any other category name... this is not working :/
Hello
I have the same problem.
For me, it seems that it filters only the "top level" categories, any lover categories are ignored for the filter.
also does not work
any answers on this one yet?
In the Last Stable Version 2.0.12 B the Search Filtering it's working good for the Product Categories :-)
But for Product Filtering / Search it's not working so good...
For example i've got this product:
Product Name: Meia fpd34ad-1
SKU: fpd34ad-1
If i write this: "Meia fpd34ad-" or Sku "fpd34ad-"
The search is working!
But if i write the full name: "Meia fpd34ad-1" or the Full Sku "fpd34ad-1"
The search Filter Isnt working because cant find the name or the Sku
now in the 2.0.14 we got the same kind of problem in Administration of Products search area .... doesnt detect the "-"
Arghh.......................... seems VM goes like "1 step forward ... 1 step backward"
