Hello,
I developed a plugin that will allow you to add attributes to a product just like in VM 1.x.
It will still be under custom fields tab but you can enter the old attributes code of VM 1.x and add as many attributes at once!
PM or reply to this post if you need it. I will also be happy to assist you migrate your attributes data from VM 1.x to VM 2.
Thank you
I would be interested, without something like that, I am most likely scrapping vm2 it is bad enough i have to enter all the products again as it is but without the attributes it is like making 10 times the products.
Will it be possible with this plugin to sell some products in a given quantity? If so, I'm very interested!
not sure if you plugin will fix this issue.
we have products. then for each product we want to add monogramming. they can add this if they want. there are 4 choices each with a different price. we then want the price added to the product. if they add monogram then they enter color of thread and what text they want monogrammed.
currently adding a price modifier doesn't add to the product price, but instead in cart total it subtracts like a discount.
I'm interested in this. Can you pm me link for dling your plugin? Thank you.
hi,
on the product page i need to have 2 dropboxes, first one u choose the material (canvas, paper, etc) and in the second one choose the dimensions, according to this, price changes, and what i have in the second dropbox depends on what i choose in the first one.
can i have this with your plugin?
thx a lot
Good, Link to test?

i have a new joomla install and a VM2 we can test there. i PMed you.
I wold be very interested as well. VM has not been keeping up with other carts and we are limping along as a result. The move to OSCommerce style of attributes is a MASSIVE step backwards. I'm sure there's a "good reason" (technically) for going to "custom fields" but unless I can add attributes from INSIDE a product I am entering, I will have to abandon VM in favor of something else. I'm sorry, but a software package is only as useful as it is easy to use.
Please send me a link for the alternate plugin.
Thanks!
Hello all,
Sorry for the late response, I have been busy and all.
@cspub: sorry it doesn't allow you to do that.
@razvanadrian: no it doesn't work that way.
@all: right now I am selling the plugin so that I can pay for a webhost and setup a demo site.
Thank you
ok lets take it from the beginning again, is your plugin doing what i need? i need to know before buying right? didn't work with VM1 so i dont know what vm1 was able to do.

Hello Padzhp and others,
I know this is an old topic, but this still sounds like a good option (allthough for a different website this time).
So... can anyone tell me the name of this exension and/or perhaps where to find the demo for it?
Thanks!

Hello (BT)PRO,
Off course I came upon your plugin a few times, searching around the fora, but I'm afraid it isn't exactly what we want or can't do exactly what we need...
I'm trying to achieve something like this: http://www.tricorp.com/?catalogcategory/12120472772383/T145.aspx&catalog=5 ('kleur' means 'color', 'kledingmaat' means 'size')
I found this extension (http://"http://www.virtuemartcolors.com/") (component+plugin) that looks promissing (at least for the color part), but unfortunate I can only get it to work partially, like others in the thread here: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=104087.15
And with the developer not responding (yet), I've been searching the fora a bit further and came upon this thread. ;-)
The test with VMColors so far is visible here (http://"http://www.yepdesign.nl/test/mg/joomla/index.php/werkkleding/werkkleding-algemeen/t-shirts/t145-detail").
Can I use the http://www.kaizenmediaworks.com/virtuemart-2-0-custom-field-dropbox-plugin for showing the name of colors and the thumbs of each color near their name?

no, sorry
padzhp - I am in need of the plug in. Have you set up a sit? I need to be able to do an Attribute List just as it was done in VM1. Hope you are and successful.

Check this one: http://breakdesigns.net/extensions/customfields-for-all
Thank you balai -
Nice plug-in but provided more than I am looking for and does work on a default list.
In revisiting did notice that the kaizenmediaworks plug-in did allow the defaults to be over written once installed - so I am trying that.
