New installation of J1.7.1
Download installation form http://dev.virtuemart.net/attachments/download/324/virtuemart1.9.8.RC2H_extract_first.zip
Unzip -> upload and install com_virtuemart.1.9.8H.zip

Get this error:
There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Update: with the same environment, no problem why I try to install its old one:

The new version is slightly bigger, so it is connected to your server, you may use this http://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-gallery-component/438-cannot-find-joomla-xml-setup-file. It should also help you in your case

@Mibo: Many thanks for you quick response. Issue is fixed. Just change limit of file size to 200MB from my php ini :D
