Hi,

When you checkout the user signup form is missing and provides no way to checkout. Could anyone help me enable the registration form?

Hi,

Do you mean the login form?
Now you can find that form, when clicking on the add/efit billing address.

i managed to fix this by forcing user to signup first (i think the problem was with my templates than with virtuemart)

i have fixed an issue that the user was not logged in when registering also.

You have that option in VM.
Look in configration > Checkout tab: there is a parameter "On checkout, ask for registration".
If this box if checked, the shopper can register, or checkout as Guest.

I too have this problem. Did you fix it? Changes in the VM and Joomla configuration did not work!
