Hi

I can see in VM 1.1.15 we have PayPal new API. Can someone please explain what the new payment method is as opposed to the old paypal payment method? I can't seem to find any docs on it. Also is it restricted by country? Basically I am looking to have the paypal transaction take place on the website and not redirected to paypal and was hoping they PayPal new API will do it, and do it in Australia.

Just wondering if you got a response about this? I am interested in the difference between this and the old html based one. I am also from Australia.

Never got a reply. We did some testing and found the API was still buggy.

I stuck to the legacy one as I couldn't get the new api to work properly.
Would have rathered use the new one though as it looks much fancier for the user ;)

Yes the old one works, but you still get that credit card form there for no reasone at all and looks very stupid
