Title: Paypal mod problem, processes order without paying

Here's what is happening with my paypal.
> Choose paypal on checkout
> takes you to paypal site
> I go back to the website without paying
> "congratulations" you order has been made
> admin and customer both receive order confirmation although customers didnt actually pay!!!

Same happens to me - have you found a solution for this issue yet ?

nope...just make sure you don't ship to a non-paid order...
i mark all paypal orders pending automatically...then when i manually confirm the order then i change its status to Confirmed...

i think the other option would be using Payflow pro

I also have this problem - and it is a major problem.  It looks like this topic is very similar to this one which has received almost 22,000 views yet the problem has not been solved.

Thank you for that link.  To be honest I am stunned this has not been fixed.  To me it is a glaring error and should have been fixed by now.  Basically it makes using Virtue Mart with PayPal completely pointless if we're just going to end up giving things away.  I am so glad I noticed this before I invested a lot of time on this.

I will read the post you linked to, but I doubt I will want to use Virtue Mart if this cannot be resolved once and for all.
