Post by: aravot on February 19, 2008, 19:23:40 PM
VirtueMart 1.1 rev 1267

In Joomla 1.0.13
Additional image upload when image extension is in capital letter is not working example.JPG

In Joomla 1.5
Additional image upload not working regardless of image extension.

Could someone else check this, thank you.

Hi Aravot

As promised is here the result of my testing:

Joomla 1.5.1, VM 1.10 nightly build 26-02-2008:

extra image with jpg and png extension can be uploaded without problem. Thumbnail image can be viewed within product detail page. But when extension is written in capital than thumbnail is not generated. Although image is still visible in lightbox.  In FF you see a small rectangle box, in IE you will see a box with small red cross (same size as other thumbnail)

Joomla! 1.0.14 Stable, vm 1.10 nightly build 24-2-2008

extra image with jpg and png extension can be uploaded without problem. Thumbnail image can be viewed within product detail page. But when extension is written in capital than thumbnail is not generated. Although image is still visible in lightbox.  In FF you see a small rectangle box, in IE you will see a box with small red cross (same size as other thumbnail)

result is same in both cases.

One remark for the: FileManager::Image/File List  "product name"

Normally you can toggle the  published/unpublished  state by clicking the tick or cross under the colom published in other menu within Joomla and virtuemart. But in FileManager::Image/File List menu you can't. If you want to unpublished a picturen you have to click on the picture itself and unpublished it in the picture detail tab. This is not consistent and I think this should be changed.
