I have just installed joomla 1.5 stable and VM rev 1210. To check how it works I installed it with the sample datas. After I wanted to replace these datas with my products from VM rev 1093. Since CSV Improved doesn't work properly with Joomla 1.5 I just replaced the 15 tables from jos_vm_product to jos_vm_product_votes. But since than the product sroller doesn't show any product. It worked fine with the sample datas and does again when I take the original tables. I couldn't also detect any changes in the table structure.
I don't have any problems with the products itselfs but with the product scroller module. Does anbybody have a solution?

You need to repalce all product,categories db tales....csvi working on J! 1.5 for import but you cant see imports buttons etc.....

I have changed all product and categories tables.
I think there is a problem with the productscroller module. there where changes in rev 1210. Since than it doesn't work correctly. Even whe I add a new product in the shop it won't be shown in the scroller unless I go back to rev 1209.

Roland posted on his site that he was going to take a look this weekend at seeing if he could modify csv improved to work with 1.5.
Finally the problem is not CSV improved or the way to replace tables from the DB. It's a problem with the product scroller module and specially with the changes in rev 1210.

Have you try to install VM modules with legacy plugin disabled.

since rev 1208 the VM modules work also in non legacy mode and can be installed with legacy mode off!!. as i said, it worked fine until rev 1210.
Modules are different in 1210 with changes to suit VM1.1 or VM1.0.14 installations. There are bound to be issues with these until the bugs are sorted.
