Hello,
I have installed beta3 on joomla 1.5 and the admin component shows up inside my joomla admin (unlike beta2) and the left menu is being overlapped by the main display panel.
Is there a hack or fix for this?
Thanks
Revision 1194 displays OK for me in Firefox and IE. "Inside" Joomla admin menas that it is displaying in Simple Layout rather than Extended layout, with which there is currently an issue:
http://dev.virtuemart.net/cb/issue/1703?navigation=true
actually the left menu says that I am in extended layout.
with beta3 I still need to run in legacy mode??
I want to note that if there is any kind of error on the page, the menu will overlay also.
it seems that IE will not overlay so its functional, but it still seems to be half way in extended layout and half way in simple.
Please try build 1198
when I install that I get an :
"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966778 bytes) in C:\wamp\www\joomla15\libraries\joomla\filesystem\archive\zip.php on line 285"
is there a way to allocate more memory so I can use the installer??
You need to contact your hosting company and ask them to increase memory limit to at least 16MB but the more the better.
i am still getting an overlap on the back end admin panel too... my whole left column is completely covered... and i've tested on 3 different accounts all with different companies, godaddy, bluehost, and lunarpages.... which are all widely used ..
I did have access to the php.ini file so I changed my memory to 16M
then I did the auto install with the latest build and it now works.
I tried several times with the manual install and I kept getting the overlapping issue.
So maybe there is a different file somewhere??
Manual install package is not updated, it builds every night 12:00AM GMT
I Cannot see the left column menu.. i see it behind the right box of the interface, and i've tested this on various hosting accounts all with different companies.. is anyone else getting this issue?
Please retry with the latest nightly build, 1198
