VirtueMart 1.1 r1037

Can't add a product to the cart with unpublished child product.

Created a product, added a child product to that product everything works fine however when I unpublish the child product I can not add the parent product to the cart, I get the following message.

Either I am doing something wrong or this is a bug or expected behavior.

nope, not fixed. still can't have a custom attribute field with nothing in it.

It is solved, custom attribute and child product is not the same.
